Block mochi bricks

Needed this to make Zenzai (sweet red bean soup) and it’s perfect! I just used sweetened canned adzuki beans, a tablespoon of sake, a little water, dash of salt and extra sugar. I cut up the Mochi into 1” cubes and added it to the pot and cooked until the Mochi became soft and tender. Man it was delicious!!
