If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If a can containing food has a small dent, but is otherwise in good shape, the food should be safe to eat. Discard deeply dented cans. A deep dent is one that you can lay your finger into. Deep dents often have sharp points. A sharp dent on either the top or side seam can damage the seam and allow bacteria to enter the can. Discard any can with a deep dent on any seam.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Our Policy Regarding Product Expiration Dates
At Gohan Market, we strive to provide our customers with the freshest products possible. To ensure quality and customer satisfaction, we have a specific policy regarding product expiration dates:
- Discounted Items: Any item with a remaining shelf life of less than forty-five (45) days will be clearly marked and offered at a reduced price.
This policy allows us to offer products that are still perfectly good while ensuring our customers are aware of the remaining time before expiration. We believe in transparency and want you to feel confident in your purchases at Gohan Market.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

We require receipts for all returns. Should you not have your receipt, we can also attempt to look up the receipt for your purchase in store. The store can look up receipts for purchases made with the following methods of payment:
Third-party Visa®, Mastercard®, American Express®, and Discover® credit cards.
We will reimburse you for returned items in the same way you paid for them except:
If you used a manufacturer's coupon to purchase an item and decide to return that item, you'll receive a refund for the amount you paid for the item.
International returns or exchanges are not allowed.
